WeedSmart Week Day 3 – Innovation in Irrigated Weed Management Tour

Join WeedSmart and IREC for an informative and engaging study tour focusing on weed management in Griffith’s horticultural industry.

We’ll be checking out the latest and greatest weed management innovations in irrigated horticulture, including visits to almonds, citrus and grape farms.

You’ll have a first-hand opportunity to witness new tech in action on local farms, and chat to growers about their experiences. We’ll also hear from researchers and agronomists on their latest weed research findings.

Buses will be leaving Griffith town centre at 7:30am, and returning around 12pm. Lunch and snacks will be included.

This tour is an optional part of the main WeedSmart Week event, and tickets are sold separately, so you have the option to attend as much or as little of WeedSmart Week as you like.

Please note, all attendees will be allocated a seat on the bus for facilitated discussion between stops.
